Faces Places, 2018 – 2024

Photography serves as a playground for Pater, who delights in the union and reconstruction of images captured in Hong Kong and Japan. Through this process, he creates endless possibilities that embody immortal and unbounded outcomes of emotions and states of mind.

Punched holes / Dots were added to photos to simulate spacetime tunnels where people and objects “fly” from one picture (place) to another.  This exploration seeks to instinctively uncover the divine connections between people and places, as well as among individuals themselves.
