This Place, March-May 2019

This is a series of photographs taken around and immediately after the close-down of the area around Yue Man Square (裕民坊) for redevelopment.  More than 106 shops and stalls have disappeared affecting 1,600 inhabitants.  Yue Man Square, one of the landmarks in Kowloon East, has served Hong Kong people for more than 50 years.
